I'm annoyed. You know what the cause is? Undersea grave-robbing.

A little clarification--I'm talking, of course, about the practice of going treasure-hunting for "artifacts" on shipwrecks, lifting things like Model-Ts, dinner plates, shoes, weapons, priceless treasures of ages long gone by from dead ships like Yamato, Titanic or Bismarck.

Some historians, oceanographers, suggest that this is an act of record-keeping, preserving the past, and to an extent, they are correct. Nevertheless, it stands to reason that many who dive down to these hallowed undersea tombs do so simply for status, for personal gain. And of course, to make bad movies, Mr. James Cameron, but that's besides the point.

Killing the historical value of shipwrecks with this...grave-robbery on the ocean floor is disrespectful to those who perished aboard them. Every fiber of my being rebels at the notion. I wish that people would show more courtesy to those who have passed on.
